VolkerRail is amongst the winners of this year’s RoSPA Awards, after receiving a RoSPA Gold Award in health and safety and a RoSPA Fleet Safety Gold Award.
This is the fourth year VolkerRail has received a Gold Award in health and safety for occupational health and the sixth consecutive year for the Fleet Safety Gold Award.
Adrian Shah-Cundy, head of corporate responsibility at VolkerWessels UK said: “This is a great achievement. Receiving these awards is testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees and subcontractors, to prevent work related injuries and ill-health; whilst improving their wellbeing.”
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a British charity that aims to save lives and prevent life-changing injuries which occur as a result of accidents.
The RoSPA Awards are open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes across the UK and overseas and have been held annually for nearly 60 years.
