Stuart Webster-Spriggs, HSQES director, has joined the cohort of RoSPA Award Ambassadors.

As an ambassador, Stuart will provide mentoring and support to RoSPA award winners looking to continue their success.

The Ambassador scheme was launched by RoSPA in 2018 and aims to create a network of individuals who champion RoSPA’s objective to drive up health and safety standards, via the RoSPA’s International Health and Safety Awards.

With VolkerRail being in receipt of nine consecutive RoSPA gold medals for health and safety performance and seven consecutive RoSPA gold medals for fleet safety, Stuart hopes to use this success to assist others in achieving their goals and commitment to safety, for the benefit of everyone - both at work and at home.

Commenting on his appointment, Stuart said: “Since taking the position of HSQES director at VolkerRail, I recognised the importance of the RoSPA awards, in providing tangible evidence of our commitment to health and safety in the workplace and beyond.

“My commitment to UK health and safety has seen me accept the position of ambassador to enable my experience and successes to be transferred.”

RoSPA is a registered charity working to prevent accidents in the UK and around the world, to stop the needless loss and devastation that accidents cause to individuals, families, communities, businesses and society.
