Seventh consecutive RoSPA Gold Award for VolkerRail
VolkerRail is delighted to have received the ROSPA Gold Medal Award for Occupational Health and Safety Performance and the ROSPA Gold Award for the Management of Occupational Road Risk in the prestigious annual scheme run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
This is VolkerRail’s seventh consecutive Gold Award for the Management of Occupational Road Risk and fifth consecutive Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety Performance, making this year’s Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety Performance a Gold Medal Award.
The Gold Medal Award is presented to those organisations who have achieved five to nine consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards (excluding Management of Occupational Road Risk).
Stuart Webster-Spriggs, HSEQS director said: “I am delighted that we have, again, received recognition from RoSPA. Our teams continually work hard to maintain our safety performance and this award is testament to their dedication.”
Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most highly-respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, and allow organisations to prove excellence in the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing of not only employees but all those who interact with it.”
These awards celebrate health and safety performance throughout 2017 and VolkerRail will be presented with the awards at a prestigious ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, on 4 July.
