MEPWPs working on an overhead line structure

MEWPs and access plant

Mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) are some of the most popular road rail access machines used for a variety of working at height operations, across heavy rail, light rail and tram systems, depots and sidings.

Our hireable EVO-2 MEWPs are ideal for overhead line (OLE), signalling and at height installations, maintenance and repairs. We can offer either a competitive spot hire rate or a bespoke solution for your long-term hire.

Through various configurations our fleet can offer a wide range of benefits such as flexible access at height, on/off tracking, adjacent line open (ALO) compliance, and can also travel under live OLE.

Our MEWPs provide flexibility in planning, with a range of attachments including pantograph, digital height/stagger gauge and trailers for carrying materials and equipment.

Weighing 13 tonnes, with a basket capacity of up to 400kg, a speed on rail of up to 7.5mph, our MEWPs are capable of working at height up to 14m, with a maximum outreach of 9.3m.
